Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Verona School does not have a school canteen. We do offer a daily breakfast and lunch program for all students who need it. These services are provided free of charge to students.
Breakfast Program
Breakfast is available for all students in the quad from 8:40 am – 9 am. Students are offered:
- Up & Go - Cereal
- Toast and Spreads - Cheese Toasties
Lunch Program
Students requiring lunch are welcome to order from our lunch program. There is a daily option advertised in the morning and students are able to order during their morning class. Lunch is prepared by one of our School Learning Support Officers. Menu items are rotated and may include:
- Spaghetti Bolognese - Chicken Burgers
- Macaroni and Cheese - Hot Dogs
- Pies and Sausage Rolls - Soups
- Wraps - Pasta Bake
- Sausage Sizzle - Butter Chicken and Rice
- Toasted Sandwiches
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

At Verona School, all students are expected to wear the navy blue Verona Polo shirt and navy Blue Verona hoodie in colder weather. Students may wear black pants, shorts or a skirt of choice. Shoes must be closed in and safe.
All students will be provided with 2 x school polo shirts and 1 x school hoodie upon enrolment. Additional items can be purchased through the front office. Please call to enquire about the current price.
Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring the facility does not interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
We assess each application on a case-by-case basis using the Community Use of School Facilities policy.
