Integration
At Verona School, we are committed to supporting students in developing the skills and confidence needed to transition successfully back to their census (home) schools. As part of this process, students who attend Verona on a four-day placement participate in our Integration Program every Thursday.
On this day, students return to their census schools to re-engage with their peers, teachers, and classroom routines. This program is designed to help students apply the strategies and skills they have developed at Verona in their mainstream school environment, fostering independence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
The integration process is closely monitored and supported by Verona staff in collaboration with the census schools to ensure that each student’s transition is gradual, positive, and sustainable.
