External Service Providers
Externally funded service providers at Verona School.
Allied health
Our Allied Health team includes Speech Therapists and Behaviour Therapists who provide targeted interventions, assessments, and personalised support programs. These services aim to build communication skills, emotional regulation, social interaction, and independence—helping each student to engage confidently in their learning environment.
School Psychologist
Students are able to book appointments to speak with the psychologist for support with emotional regulation, coping strategies, behaviour, or personal concerns. Sessions are confidential and aim to empower students with practical tools to manage challenges and build resilience.
Our School Psychologist also collaborates with teachers and allied health professionals to provide a holistic, student-centred approach to learning and wellbeing—reflecting Verona School’s commitment to nurturing the whole child.
Therapuppy
This program allows students to spend time with a trained therapy dog in a safe, supervised setting—helping them to relax, regulate, and develop positive emotional skills. The Therapuppy sessions encourage empathy, confidence, and joy, creating a welcoming environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
The inclusion of the Therapuppy at Verona House reflects our commitment to providing innovative, evidence-based approaches to student support and holistic development.
